Just to say, the thing about Sauerkraut was just a joke!!!! He wasn't offering to cook a meal, though we will bring a couple of jars if you guys want/ in case we get stranded/ the world ends/ etc

You guys know it's only pickled cabbage, right???

So just to be clear, the sauerkraut is NOT a proper meal but the Spag Bol IS.

Just come back from Hong Kong/China, got a chest infection that wont budge, therefore wont be able to come. Please use the space for someone else.

Carl - Looking forward to the Grizedale black run, definitely bringing the bike up. Whinlatter trails are not too far either, the highest in the UK apparently.

Forecast is wet, with maybe a little sleet, I wouldn't go to mad on taking lots of winter gear, plus there are no leaders for technical routes (Karl, Mark, etc)

Bought half a pig this morning!

Yeah, looked at the forecast earlier this morning, sorry Simon! Yet another year goes by and i've not used my snow chains.

If people have got bikes, i think there should be a range of biking speeds. The advantage of the biking, on marked trails, is that its more short and sharp than a walk in inclement weather! Then back in for the mulled wine I should imagine there will be plenty of people not biking also.
