60th Birthday Party Meet (21-23 July)

Hi everyone,

The much anticipated MMC 60th birthday party meet is from Friday the 21st to Sunday the 23rd of July and is being held at the Corris hostel in Wales.

There are 40 spaces and expect them to fill up fast because it is an absolute bargain at £25 (including cheese and crackers, hostel accommodation, breakfasts, the Saturday night meal, ceilidh, barrel(s) of ale and other drinks) and because there will be a few familiar faces of past members joining us too. For those with a camper van there is a campsite 3 miles down the road. If you are not staying in the hostel but would like to join us for the meals and ceilidh the usual 50% fees apply.

Priority of bed spaces goes to members, then to past members, then to prospective members and then to friends of the club. We have an exclusive booking for the hostel, which means we have the run of the place and all 40 bed spaces to ourselves, so space shouldn’t be an issue. Don’t forget, if you know any past members not still on the mailing list or forum they can in touch with me to book.

There is walking, climbing, biking and a beach near the Corris hostel for your amusement during the day.

The hostel allows dogs, the usual club rules apply.
