You're not going to believe this but apparently there are some people that say the best time to climb in the peak district is when is when it's bloody cold. They mumble about 'friction' and 'contact' through blue lips and spray anti-freeze on their cams.

Fortunately for the rest of us, Hathersage and Froggatt are blessed with several nice pubs in which to while away a crisp autumn afternoon and we've got a hut for you to sleep in afterwards and everything.
