Our next club social is going to combine street food, beer and some inspirational films so there is something for everyone!
We'll start off at St Paul's Market which is a big food hall not far from Snow Hill, with various traders serving all kinds of delicious street food, beers and cocktails. From there it's a 13 minute walk to Birmingham Town Hall, where the Banff Film Festival is being held. The Red Programme starts at 7:30pm and includes a 45 minute film about Jasmin Paris completing the Barkley Marathons which I reckon will be worth the ticket price alone! (and if you've not already watched The Barkley Marathons: The Race That Eats Its Young, you absolutely should!)
This is all happening on Saturday 28th February.
Meeting time at St Pauls' tbc but maybe 3:30, 4ish? I'll look into booking a table if there are lots and lots of us.
We will need to book Banff - I am happy to book tickets so we are seated together if I receive payment in advance. Tickets are £15. It looks like it is selling quite well so I'd like to book them by the end of this month. Sign up below
