Skye 2021 - 12-19th June

Hi Mercians,

I have been notified by the Glen Brittle Hut that they are planning to remain closed until the end of June due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This means our booking is unfortunately cancelled. Sad times.

I have asked for our booking to be rolled over to 2021 so we still get to have a Skye meet. The new dates are Saturday 12- Saturday 19th June 2021. 

Hopefully most of you are up for a 2021 meet and can make the new dates.  Please add your name to this thread to confirm you can make it.  

Given the highly unusual circumstances we are happy to refund anyone who can't make those dates. You have all already paid the club in full, so please let me know by the end of April 2020 if you need a refund. I'll send a reminder closer to the time as well. 

Please note that after that date we will revert to the usual policy - if you drop out for non-coronavirus related reasons later on then you would forfeit monies already paid, unless we can fill the bed.

Hi Vicky

This was supposed to be the year when I finally got to visit rural Scotland but never mind. Unfortunately, David and I can't commit this month for dates over a year away. There's Just too many things that could change.

what would be helpful is if you could set out the situation for members who, like ourselves can't commit and those that couldn't make the 2020 dates but could make 2021 dates. Would these places remain up for grabs until a certain date, bearing in mind that we didn't have to commit this year until mid-Feb?
