Reet, new plan. I've booked flights to Birmingham on the Friday night and back on the following Monday. I can therefore be driven all the way from bham by anyone kind enough to offer I can bring French/Swiss snacks as required.

Sea kayaking could be interesting, I'd also be keen for a Talisker distillery tour should the opportunity arise on a rainy day.
