Re: Armchairmans Challenge: Plan a 2021 meet.
I think we've had only one previous meet to Dartmoor? That I can find on the forum.
I'm going to suggest more to the east side of Dartmoor, and the campsite Five Wyches Farm. I haven't stayed here before, however it is only 7 minutes from Hay Tor, and 13 mins to Bonehill rocks (this is another of my meet suggestions based on bouldering locations I want to go to, with decent trad nearby!). I haven't been to Dartmoor before but I imagine there will be some wonderful hiking/mountain biking options nearby too.
It's a small campsite which welcomes large group bookings. £7 a night and less than 20 mins to the Cromwell Arms, with the option of a cafe or bar even closer by.
Theres also the dartmoor whisky distillery only 1.8km away, and the closest beach a 20 min drive away - so many options!!
