Some folks have asked what Egg Nog is. It is a drink made from-

•2 eggs, beaten well
•3 tbs sugar
•1 tsp vanilla
•1/8 tsp nutmeg, ground
•2 1/3 cups milk
which is all blended together and served cold, can also contain Brandy.

I am going for this.

Mike

Cheers. :)

Hi, Mike, can you put Pauline and me down for the meal, we both want the turkey and Xmas pud but Pauline will start with the squash soup and I'll have the venison banger!

Do they do booze there? :drinkers:

Brian

Opus cafe does do "booze" the beer is very expensive but the wine list looks reasonable.

See beers below-

Budweiser 33cl £3.50
Bucket of Budweisers 6 x 33cl £15.00
Old Speckled Hen 50cl £6.50
Strongbow 33cl £3.50
Becks Blue, alcohol free 33cl

Wine list see website http://www.opusrestaurant.co.uk/cafe-opus/menus/

I did ask about having some real ale the answer was no if we are not booking the whole restaurant.

Prince of Wales round the corner on Cambridge Street serves excellent beers
