Banff Mountain Film Festival

Hey Mercians,

Tickets for the Banff Mountain film festival are on sale. Dates for the West Midlands include:

Red films and Blue films: Birmingham Town Hall, 3rd March

Red films, Leamington Spa, 6th March, 7.30pm

Blue films, Leamington Spa, 28th April, 7.30pm

Personally I like the sound of the red ones - bike packing in the Canadian Arctic, extreme kayaking in Greenland and a badass 90 year old ice skating lady!

The weekend of 3rd March clashes with a meet in Snowdonia which I will probably go on, so selfishly I am proposing a trip to the Leamington edition on 6th March. I am happy to book tickets as there is a discount for groups of more than 6 booking together. It looks like there are not too many left though (approx 20 available), so we probably need to do this fairly soon. I'll look to book tickets early next week if there is enough interest.

Obviously anyone not going to the meet is free to sort out an outing to the Birmingham dates.
