Braedownie, Glen Clova - Easter Meet 28/3- 1/4
Posted: 28 Feb 2024, 13:12
THE HILLS ARE ALIVE...WITH THE SOUND OF MERCIANS
Or at least they will be over Easter 2024 when we decamp to the Braedownie Hut in Glen Clova. We had to go back since everyone who went last time WILL NOT shut up about how good it was.
In the words of the Carn Dearg MC:
"The hut is is ideally situated for hill walking on the Munros of Mayar and Driesh, and is within walking distance of the rock climbing crags of Red Craig, and about 1 hour’s walk from the winter climbing areas of Winter Corrie and Corrie Fee."
I believe there has also been talk of G&Ts on the veranda...
Bring your walking boots, climbing shoes, crampons, ice axes, skis and bikes because this Cairngorm Classic has it all!
