Wow, filled up fast. I was not planning to attend this meet. But might echo Tom’s point of opening meets at a time when more people are likely to see an email that it has opened. I know there is no perfect time, but I’d leave that for the committee to consider.

Sorry to anyone who feels they missed out due to the lateness of posting. We did try to be fair by giving people a heads up it would be posted on 3rd. Unfortunately we were a bit delayed getting it up on the page, but thought it was better to still post it on the day that we said we would.

We will try our best to fit everyone in, there may be a possibility of acquiring some extra bed spaces depending on covid rules. Me and Matt are also going to kip in our van which frees up a couple more spots.

We have a committee mtg Monday night so will discuss future meet-posting etiquette then.

Lucy and I would like to attend. We will be staying in our Adventure Wagon so will not be occupying any beds in the hut.

Vicky, Adam, I've now made other plans for NY, so someone else can have my reserve slot, fairly low down the pile but you never know! Thanks for organising both

Have sent money now, we're leaving on the 2nd rather than the 3rd so only doing 3 nights. Have paid £96, unless we need to pay for the night we're not using?

Hello New Yearers.

There has been talk of extra nights on the NY meet. Please sign up stating which night(s) you want. If an as yet undecided critical mass is reached the extra nights will be requested from the hut owner. Sign up by midnight on 6/12.

If you sign up this guarantees you a place and that you will have to pay for it, should the critical mass be reached.

Sounds great, yes please! Meat for me, do we have to catch the haggis first?
