Our next meet sees us returning to the Agnes Spencer hut in Patterdale, Lake District. This is a superb location from which to explore some cracking mountains. Hellvellyn, Fairfield and High Street are all within easy distance. You could stride up Striding Edge, scramble up the classic 3* Pinnacle Ridge (rope faff optional), take your bike for a ride (or walk) along a selection of bridleways, or even go for a dip in Ullswater. Failing all that, you could stay dry on a boat trip, or take Vicky to the pub and buy her a birthday pint (if she attends!)
