The Don Whillians Hut meet is now open.

All 12 spaces in Rock Hall cottage are available. For those like me that haven't stayed there yet, the cottage is actually built in to a rock cave, and i'm told is an amazing hut and setting.

'Ideally situated for the outdoor enthusiast amongst the crags and gritstone boulders of the Roaches Estate in North Staffordshire, Rockhall Cottage was renovated in 1991 in memory of one of Britain’s greatest mountaineers. Whether it’s rock-climbing; walking the ridge, heather moorland and river valleys; enjoying the wildlife; mountain-biking on nearby routes; or just watching the sunset over a drink or two, this location has it all. No traffic but passing climbers, walkers and wildlife; steeped in history; rich in myth and legend, you’ll want to return year after year.'

Yep no problem. How many? It would be worth giving the Mercian's an ultimatum if you're looking to go for all 12 spaces as I know some people are considering but not decided. Thought there's always space for 2 non members trying us out, first come first served, as standard.

If I can sort out my admin in time for biking in les arc, and other stuff, then i'd like to head up if the weather's good. Forecast looks good at the moment on metcheck.
