Another change of plan for me. I'd like bed #5. Dylan will be in the car, which I now understand will only be a short distance away (I had thought that car parts was over a mile away, hence my need to camp near Dylan).

If memory serves the parking in front of the hut is in a long line up the track to the hut; i.e. first in = last out.

So if you want to get your car out on Saturday morning keep this in mind and don't get boxed in.

There is a national trust car park next to the ODG which is a 1 minute walk from the hut. If you are a member bring your card for free parking in that car park, and in other car parks in the valley.

I don't know what the pan count is at the hut. Might it be a good idea to take a couple of the Mercian's big pots? Maybe someone going down to the wall tonight could get them from Vijay?
