Camping season is upon us. We will be going to Holyhead in the furthest most corner of Anglesey. 3 nights, from Friday 29/4 to Monday 1/5.
Gogarth and Holyhead mountain are both close by for climbing, a short walk brings you to a sheltered cove for swimming, or you could take the coastal path around the headland.
20 spaces have been booked at £11 per night. There is an on site shop, free Wifi (if you cant stand to be away from the interweb for 3 days), all the usual stuff for a posh campsite. See link below.
Sign up if you've got nothing better to do.
Cheers

We've got other plans for the bank holiday but it's a great place to go...
We found the perfect Mercian climbing venue: Porth Saint Head, Rhoscolyn: easy to access, plenty of room for picnics, and a range of very generous grading. The best routes are tidal to make sure that you check out times before you go. Do take a range of gear as some routes need very small cams/nuts but plenty take your average size gear. Hexes are good for belays. Routes are short and fairly straight so single rope is fine (we used a doubled up 60m half rope).
I'm a weather dependent yes. Probably come up on Saturday but will confirm in the week. I was thinking about taking a bike but mtb on Anglesey looks non existent....... Bugger, I may be forced to climb
