17-19 Jan - Cae'r-frân, Llanberis

Post by Tom »

Llanberis - the extra L is for LOVE because who doesn't love the outdoor capital of Wales. This time we're staying at the Merseyside MCs cracking little hut just above the town with great views of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon and Cloggy. The hut has easy access to most of the iconic climbing, walking and mountaineering routes of Snowdonia so what are you waiting for!

I'm happy to cook for the Saturday. As we'll be just a week away from Burn's night, I'll make a Burn's supper!
Let me know if you prefer not to be included, or if you would like the vegetarian option.

I'd also like to bring a 'galette des rois' for dessert, it's a French tradition we usually have on the 6th January, but a few days late are acceptable ^^

Hi all,

Looks like Lucy and I will have to bail on this weekend.

This morning Lucy sneezed whilst in a slightly bend posture, and put her back out. It's happened before, and realistically takes a full week to improve, so a trip to the hills probably isn't recommended. So better to back out now and let others have the space. If anything suddenly changes then we'd be in the van anyway, so could always camp.

Letting Naomi and Ben know now.

Laters,

K
