I hate to say this.......

I’ve just had a concert confirmed for May 30th. It’s outdoors so it might get cancelled if there’s rain. If that does happen I’ll definitely come up to Yorkshire. I’m really sorry as I was really looking forward to this one. Hope everybody is ok!

So, I’ve booked a table at the pub (The Bridge Inn) on Saturday night for 6. I’ve invited a few folk into the table who I’ve seen the least during lockdown. The chap whom I spoke to today said I was wise to book early, with it being a bank holiday weekend. There are a few pub options near the camp site. I’d suggest not leaving it too late to book if you are keen to eat inside.

Stew thanks for the heads up about the table booking and a great idea! Can’t remember the last time we all sat in a pub together having drinks and food .

As social sec I have crawled out of my burrow and picked up the phone.

I called the bridge inn pub this evening and they have enough space to allow us all to go for dinner on Saturday evening @6pm. I have booked enough spaces to cover 16 Mercians and with stews table already sorted we would all be in the pub together!

I have provisionally booked enough tables to ensure all Mercians can come if they want to.

Please post YES! if you are interested as I need to confirm the exact number by Tuesday morning!
